MAY DAYS!!

The Chamber Choir will be performing for the opening ceremonies of the "May Days" at Doss Ferry on Saturday May 2nd. We will sing the National Anthem and two other selections right before the Mayor speaks. Spread the news and come and support us!

Parents of Seniors!!
If your child is interested in auditioning for college vocal scholarships, please let me know, if you have not done so. Full tuition scholarships are available at most 2-year colleges and partial scholarships at 4-year institutions. Each require different preparation. Chamber Choir should wear dress clothes to school tomorrow, Wed 3/4, for performance at the Honor Society induction ceremony at 8:30am. Parents are welcome to attend.

Chamber Choir District results

Congrats to the members of the Chamber Choir. They received straight Superior scores from all 3 stage adjudicators and the sightreading adjudicator at District Performance Evaluations last week. They will advance to the State level in April, which will be held at Meadowbrook Baptist Church. Great job, students! (Except basses, that 6 to #4!!!)

ALL-STATE is a-comin'!

Students in All-State will be going to Samford the end of this month. If you have not paid the $30 registration cost, please bring a check (to MJHS) to Mrs. Heron. I will need at least 2 parent drivers...please let me know if you can help on Thurs or Fri. I have sent the detail rehearsal schedule home with the students.

Spring District Festival

Chamber Choir Parents:

We will need several chaperones to travel to Bluff Park Methodist for District Festival on Thurs, 2/19. The bus will leave at 8:00am and return by 1:15pm. Please email me at mannheron@yahoo.com or respond to this post if you can help out.
