The MJHS Chamber Choir was selected (by application, including past recordings, programs, and recommendations) to perform at the Alabama Music Educator's Association (AMEA) State Conference in January at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. This is a prestigious opportunity and will be heard by an audience of music educators from all over the state.

Congratulations Mrs. Heron and Chamber Choir! I look forward to hearing ya'll at the AMEA conference. UAB's concert choir will be there singing as well and we're excited to be a part of this year's conference. I am sure that this will be a great learning opportunity that will strengthen you as musicians and show the rest of Alabama the high caliber of music that comes from Mortimer Jordan's choral program.
